Welcome to the new and improved site for Avalon Fleet Yards. We are a Bravofleet-based Star Trek Simulation that has been under the same leadership for six years, and plans to stay that way. We play by forum, with a very relaxed, very informal environment, and know that we are here for the purpose of having a good time. Hey Guys!
I'm really impressed with the progress we are making here on Avalon Fleet Yards. I just wanted to say that I'm very happy with how the mission is going.
Also, I've noticed that some of you haven't been around lately... If you have time to stay around, that is wonderful! If you don't, we will be sad to see you go. I would ask that EVERYONE please send me an e-mail at cfaulknor@gmail.com and just let me know if you're staying or leaving.

Ok Guys... I'm really impressed with how we started posting again, and how we're getting the show on the road. The only comment I would make, is that I would love to see everyone participating. Even if it's just a tiny, one-line post... even if it's just once-a-week, I ask that you put in *something* so I know you're still with us and still interested.
Also, Please note the new poll in the "announcement" section of the Forum regarding our next mission. It will run for **THREE DAYS** so please vote soon!

Hey guys,
Chris and I, have had a chat and theres a board that I would like introduce to the forums, it wont be apart of Sim but more of out of character fun. The game is called Diplomacy, its set in pre- World War 1 Europe, and you play one of the seven super powers at the time, Austria (Red), England (Dark Blue), France (Light Blue), Germany (Black), Italy (Green), Russia (Teal), and Turkey (Yellow). The object of the game is to use your armies and fleets to conquer as much of Europe as you can, but also to lie, deceive, make alliances with other players, then break them. Specifically, you must capture and be in possession of at least 18 of the 34 nations or provinces on the map that contain supply centres, indicated by country stars - i.e. a simple majority - at the end of a year.
Quite often the game ends in a two-way, three-way, or even four-way draw. Draws are generally agreed upon by all players or are declared after a pre-set time limit has been reached with all surviving participants sharing in the draw.
This game should be fun, and it will help us to get to know everyone a little bit better, check it out on the forums!!
